Welch’s Appoints Michael J. Perda as CFO
CONCORD, Mass, April 1, 2008
Welch’s, the world’s leading marketer of Concord and Niagara grape-based products, today announced it has named Michael J. Perda as Chief Financial Officer. Perda will help establish and meet Welch’s financial goals and growth objectives while overseeing the company’s information systems and planning departments.
A 20 year finance veteran, Perda comes to Welch's from Honeywell International where he was the Vice President and CFO for the Consumer Products Group where he helped transform the division into a $2 billion global consumer branded manufacturing and distribution business. Prior to Honeywell, Perda was the European Controller for AlliedSignal in Paris, France.
Perda has an MBA from the University of Rhode Island and an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut.
