SCOPE:

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager will lead the development of the annual business plan for the Essential and Light juice platforms and will play a key role in the successful implementation of the plan within the broader Welch’s Brand plan. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effective use of Analysis, Research, and Financial Planning: (1) Utilize quantitative and qualitative information sources to understand the needs of the marketplace (consumers and customers) and deliver added-value recommendations for creating a competitive advantage. Data sources include: IRI syndicated data, daily sales reports, Field Sales communications, market research reports, market visits, competitive tracking reports, etc. (2) Understand and completely manage Essentials and Light Brand P&Ls and marketing budgets
  • Lead the development and implementation of line extensions and renovations
  • Act as a liaison to Sales to support new product distribution goals and sales materials for customer calls as needed
  • Proactively work with Field Sales and Customer Marketing to develop new programs to increase sales to meet Brand objectives
  • Create annual plan and manage plan communication, including project updates
  • Develop and deliver outstanding creative execution; bring new, relevant, compelling ideas to the Marketing team for consideration
  • Recommend and implement consumer promotions to grow sales to meet Brand objectives

  • Experience with leading cross-functional teams is a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS required with 5 years of related industry experience
  • MBA with relevant CPG work experience is preferred
