Scope

Provide general support to Food/Occasions and Innovation Marketing Teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists Marketing Managers on projects including executing consumer promotions, performing post-promotion analysis, tracking packaging changes, and assisting with trade shows. 
  • Assists Marketing teams on new venture/new product development, including, but not limited to, coordinating project team meetings, assisting in consumer research and executing marketing tactics.
  • Updates P&L forecast information.  Identifies budget issues and recommends appropriate solutions.  Tracks daily orders to assist with forecasting.  Updates computer spreadsheets on a monthly basis with data pulled from a variety of reports.  Recommends changes to P&L format as needed.
  • Accesses databases and conducts basic data analyses.  Includes both standard reports and a variety of ad-hoc reports. 
  • Provides administrative support to Marketing Managers and Directors. (~15% of time). 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • An interest in the marketing and management of consumer products
  • Understanding of data gathering (facts, measures) and analysis (drawing conclusions, formulating alternatives).
  • Strong self-management skills (flexible and able to set and adjust priorities as needs change)
  • Team oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • B.A. or B.S
  • 1-2 years working in an office environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
