SCOPE:
Responsible for leading the growth and development of the Snacks business. In collaboration with others, develops overall vision for the business and identifies high-level strategies to achieve this vision. Clearly communicates this vision and strategic plans to senior management, their project teams, and to the broader organization. Secures corporate resources needed to implement those plans. Prioritizes and sets consistent strategic direction and strategies. Collaborates broadly across the organization to efficiently achieve desired goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops overall strategic direction for the business and communicates this broadly across the organization.
- Working closely with internal and external resources and agencies, formulates short term and long term objectives and goals for the business and develops and executes the marketing plans to achieve these.
- Prioritizes marketing plans and programs on the platform. Continuously measures progress against key platform goals, and adjusts and adapts plans and programs as needed to attain these goals.
- Analyzes trends, demographic information, competitive and market research data, consumer insights, and more to arrive at new business concepts.
- Develops overall platform P&L recommendation. Manages platform P&L and adjusts plans, programs and activities as necessary to ensure platform achieves the P&L targets.
- Acts as primary platform champion across the organization to identify opportunities, solve issues, and ensure attainment of platform objectives. Takes appropriate level of risks to advance platform goals.
- Collaborates closely with the other departments and external resources (Sales, Technical, Legal, Agencies, etc.) to ensure platform strategies and programs are aligned with major environmental factors.
- Works closely with the Sales team to stay abreast of market conditions and customer needs, and implement platform strategies with key customers.
- Ensures executional excellence: projects completed on strategy, on time and on budget. Demonstrates continuous improvement in execution.

- Familiarity with consumer research tools and techniques are required.
- Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 5 – 7 years experience in Brand Marketing
- CPG experience preferred
- BA/BS required, MBA is preferred
