Spooky Blood Shot Eyeballs

Sparkling jelly treats are as delicious as they are spooky, and an easy treat to make for your Halloween party.


You will need

½ cup; Welch's Sparkling Red Grape Juice

1 tbsp unflavored gelatin

½ cup boiling water

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

2 silicone brownie pop molds

Food coloring, green, blue, black and red


Makes 16 eyeballs

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Chill Time: 4 hours

Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes

 

Steps

1. Place the Welch’s Sparkling Red Grape Juice in a small bowl; sprinkle in the gelatin. Let stand for 5 minutes. Pour boiling water over the gelatin; stir until dissolved. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk.

2. Lightly grease a brownie pop mold with cooking spray; place on a baking sheet. Divide the mixture evenly between the molds. Chill for 4 hours or until set. Unmold and arrange on a tray.

3. Use a small paintbrush to paint blue or green irises on the eyeball. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes or until dry. Use black food coloring to make a pupil. Use a very thin paintbrush, dipped in red food coloring, red food coloring to make the veins.  Serve in mini muffin liners.
