Bulk Products
As the only supplier
of Concord grapes with processing capabilities on both the East and
West coasts, Welch's offers freight savings, consistent product quality
for national brands and enhanced supply capability. Grapes grown in
the New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania growing regions are processed
at our Westfield, New York, facility, while grapes grown in Washington
state are handled at our plant in Grandview, Washington.
Concord Grape Products:
Welch's offers the following Concord grape products to the industrial
marketplace: 68° brix grape juice concentrate, single-strength grape
juice (16° brix standard), 45° brix grape puree, Essence Returned,
Essence Separate, and Grape Color Extract – a unique natural color
pigment that can only be extracted from the Concord grape. All products
are processed from 100% Concord grapes.
Packaging:
Concord grape juice concentrate is offered in the following containers:
- Bulk shipments in food grade stainless tankers
- 50-gallon reconditioned open-head steel drums
- 4.75-gallon high-density polyethylene pails
Single-strength
grape juice is shipped only in stainless tankers.
Forty-five brix Concord Puree is offered in reconditioned open-head
steel drums weighing 521 lbs. net.
Grape color extract is available in 4.5-gallon, high-density polyethylene
pails and 50-gallon open-head steel drums.
Certificates:
Shipments of Welch's industrial products are accompanied by Kosher
Certification.
