Sautéed Swiss Chard with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch of washed and chopped fresh Swiss chard leaves. Use a salad spinner to dry if needed
  • 3 tablespoons Welch's white grape juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in skillet with garlic.
  2. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add Swiss chard and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add grape juice, salt and pepper flakes.
  5. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until stalks are tender.
  6. Add fresh ground pepper.
  7. Remove from heat. Serve.
