A simple and refreshing dessert that the whole family will love!


  • 2 cups Welch's 100% Grape Juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest, additional for garnish
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups cold water

  1. Combine Welch's 100% Grape Juice, lemon zest, lemon juice and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in cold water. Pour mixture into a large airtight container and freeze for 4 hours. Make sure to stir the granita frequently to breakup any lumps that start to form.
  3. To serve, use a fork to scrape the granita. Spoon the granita into glasses. If desired, top with additional lemon zest.
