Growing Tomorrow Together
Through our sustainable practices, we cultivate powerful flavor experiences from the highest quality fruits. We strive to make life better every day by improving the quality of life for our communities, our employees and our family farmer owners.

Caring For Our Earth
We care for our earth through generations of environmental stewardship at our family farms, reducing our waste, and developing more environmentally responsible packaging. Through our plastic reduction efforts on our 10 fl oz. single serve and 30 oz. spreads packages, we removed 2 million pounds of plastic in 2020.
- 83% of our primary packaging is recyclable
- All new labels will contain How2Recycle
- Only sustainably sourced paper is used in manufacturing
- Every office building uses auto-LED lighting

Serving the Community
Welch's employees receive highly competitive wages and benefits, including annual incentives. We continue to invest in our employee well-being and recently launched parental leave for eligible employees which provides paid time off for both parents.
The experience and contributions of our employees are a key component of our business strategy. We provide opportunities for development in roles or through cross-company projects, and we have invested in company-wide leadership and culture training.
Welch’s employees and farmers are committed to improving the communities in which we work and live. We show this commitment through donating our products to help feed families in our local communities and through encouraging employee volunteerism.

Growing a Healthier Future
We grow a healthier future by providing more products that have simple and more fruit-based ingredients. We also strive for transparency with our consumers.
All of our grapes are grown on our family farms. Welch's processing plants are placed within our growing regions so that the grapes are harvested at peak quality and pressed into juice within 8 hours of being picked from the vine. Welch's 100% juice is made from the whole grape; pressing the skin and seeds which maximizes the health benefits.

Sustainability Facts
Reducing our Carbon Footprint
Vineyards do not require tilling, plowing, or planting each year and are managed less intensively than other crops and fruits. Many of our family farms are over 100 years old with the same vines still producing fruit, resulting in less soil disruption and less greenhouse gas emissions, reducing our carbon footprint.
